Hon. Francisco T. Duque, III, Civil Service Commission Chairman spearheaded the launching of the CSC Leadership Brand in the Civil Service Commission Region 5 at the Hotel St. Ellis, Legazpi City. He was joined by Dir. Cecilia R. Nieto, CSCRO5’s Regional Director and Atty. Daisy P. Bragais, CSCRO5’s Assistant Regional Director.
The CSC Leadership Brand which is Coaching for Integrity and Excellence, has seven attributes, such as Thinking Strategically, Leading Change, Building Commitment, Partnering and Networking, Managing Performance, Developing People, and Coaching for Results. These attributes were dramatically unveiled by the different Division Chiefs of the CSCRO5.
The different Field Office Directors namely: Dir. Maria Guia DV. Garcia of the CSC-Catanduanes Field Office, Dir. Raymundo V. Atendido of the CSC-Albay Field Office, Dir. Arpon U. Lucero of the CSC-Sorsogon Field Office, Dir. Andronico D. Lanuza of the CSC-Masbate Field Office, Dir. Jocelyn L. Marifosque of the CSC-Camarines Sur Field Office and Acting Dir. II Cecilia T. Balmaceda of the CSC-Camarines Norte Field Office were awarded the leadership pins.
It was followed by the recitation of the Leadership Pledge of Commitment, led by Chairman Francisco T. Duque, III.
Chairman Duque, in his inspirational message emphasized that in order to pursue excellence, one must be grounded with integrity, and CSC leaders are Human Resource and Organization Development Coaches pursuing excellence through a nurturing coaching style. This particular style unleashes potentials in people. He further challenged every CSCRO5 leader to make every leadership attribute part of their every day life specially in the delivery of efficient and effective public service.
